how coaching works, and how it can help you

As a coach, I walk with you on your personal and professional journey. Together we’ll identify your goals, brainstorm strategies, explore what’s blocking you, and make and execute your plans for change.

I’m here to hold you accountable, to give you feedback and to help guide, but the agenda is yours—you determine the direction, intensity and focus of our work together. Coaching work tends to be forward-focused and aimed at solutions; however, sometimes if a belief or narrative from your past is getting in the way, we’ll bring it out, dust it off, and see how we might put it to work in service of what you want.

My approach to coaching rests on the belief that as an individual, you have everything you need to live the life you want to live. Our work together is about figuring out the tools, concepts and ideas that will get you there, and putting that plan into action. As a coach, my value comes from my ability to help you achieve what you want, without judgment, baggage, or any agenda but yours.

  • Self-care in service of a mission: working with mission-driven professionals to cultivate personal and professional wellness, balance and self-care.
  • Mindful career planning and goal-setting: using simple and powerful mindfulness tools both to push back against overwhelm and distraction in our work, while aligning who we are with what we do.
  • Strategic thought partner: collaborating with local and national leaders to realize their personal, professional and organizational goals and navigate complex situations.
